In case you missed it on my socials last week, I opened my old anatomy textbooks for the first time in 14 years just to draw an anatomically correct eldritch monster.
The best art is created from a tortured artist's soul. I certainly suffered through academic PTSD for this one & it was 100% worth it, as you'll soon see below.
And to all my new subscribers this month: Welcome! I may have questionable reading tastes, but my art is... even more questionable.
Special Halloween Feature:
Bloodgrove by Elisabeth G. Mark
This book had all the elements for a light, cozy read before bedtime: death, decay, grotesque villains, eldritch horror, sexy monsters & a MMF why chose romance.
Yes, it's a gothic horror romance & one of my favorites of 2026, which was why I just had to draw it for Halloween.
If you'd like to see my line art & coloring process videos, they'll be up on my socials shortly.

Other fun ways to use my coloring pages (if you hate coloring):
- Print on washi/sticker paper & stick in your journals.
- Print & gift to a stressed friend. Don't forget to tell them to “calm down”.
- Edit your faces on the characters & mail to your extended family as this year's official zero-explanation holiday greeting card.
